    I think the depressing tone fits the lyrics more. I do like Lennon's version more, but this is so great. So pessimistic and eerie.

    Interesting cover musically, but its depressive undertone pretty much smothers the positive act of imagination and paints the lyrics all grey. Maybe that's the beauty of it to some, but doesn't really work for me ... and I don't even like the Beatles/Lennon that much. :P
