About This Track

The protagonist of this song runs. He runs both day and night. He runs so very far away. But, despite great effort, he just can’t get away. Apparently, his inability to get away is due to the mesmerizing influence of a girl with auburn hair and tawny eyes. In fact, the song is directed to this girl. Strange things happen involving beams of light and astronomical effects. Ultimately, however, he appears doomed to spend eternity with this girl.

Which doesn’t seem like a bad deal, really, what with the auburn hair, tawny eyes, and all.
