A Day in the Life was an American rock band formed in Dayton, Ohio, in 2001.

Their first record was a demo entitled” Four Bullets for One Girl,” which sold its 500 copy run in 2 months. This brought them to the attention of Confined Records, with which they released an album entitled “Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye.” Finally, they released a 6-song EP entitled “Paper Chromotagraphy: The Fade from Dark to Light” in the winter of 2003. In 2003, lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist JT Woodruff changed the name of the band to Hawthorne Heights with a different line-up.

Band’s line-up in 2001 (Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye):
JT Woodruff - Vocals
Andy Saunders - Guitar
Jesse Blatt: Guitar
Josh Bethel - Bass
Andy Lazier - Drums

JT Woodruff is the only member of this band who went on to form Hawthorne Heights with the current line-up.

I'm a HH fan, and I didn't knew about this part of JT's past. Just bought the second album to get that collection complete.

Why the hell do these people all look the same? Okay, dressing the same I get. But actually physically looking like a gazillion other bands? How the hell do they manage that? My theory is they actually cloned one original emo-shit band and the cloning machine went nuts so they're spwaning all over the place. Help us lawdy jesus, from the emoz!

Updated the description and added an ACTUAL picture of the band! Vote! The old description was very misleading, it made it seem that HH just had a name change. They had a line-up change as well. I don't know why the wiki insists that he re-named the band, its basically just another band JT formed but whatever.

The description and the picture is all wrong. JT was the only member of Hawthorne Height in this band.

I'm Not Crying, My Eyeballs Are Sweating <3 I got all my day in the life songs named with artist hawthorne heights (easier to find everything), and i think more people have, that is probably why they dont have many scrobbles.
