A BEAUTIFUL CURSE was officially born in 2004 by freelance musician/producer Kenny James (who has worked with George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, 24-7 Spyz, Celldweller, The Samples, and so many more). The CURSE is inspired by the combination of emotional/dramatic rock, electronica, and the downtempo/trip hop movement.
Initially designed for film soundtracks and music licensing (t.v. commercials, video games, etc. ), and after the well-received debut release “As It Should Be”, A BEAUTIFUL CURSE is concentrating on the releases of their individually released multi-media projects and the production of the sophomore release “The Afghan Tapes”. Yet, no matter its design, it’s truly dream-music from the heart and soul. A collision of groove and mood for the senses.
