Biography
A Barca Do Sol was formed in 1973 as a support band for the musician Peri Reis, but they ended up playing by themselves and turning into a great name for Brazilian progressive rock. They had folk rock influences, and because of the instruments used, their sound is often compared with Jethro Tull.
The group recorded three albums before its end in 1981.
