8BITches are a chip-hop band formed on the island of North Haven, Maine in 2007. Big Pick Zel raps about Zelda, blue-screen death, and online culture, occasionally joined by Luv Byte and The Sinister Minister, and backed up by 8BIT Ché on four Gameboy soft synth/sequencers and Lil’ Bit on vocoders and Casiotone.
Their first album, What Is Chip-Hop? is out on Red Car Records, and available via iTunes, and USB dongle.
