Biography

There are three artists with the name 4Tune.

1) German rapper 4tune
2) Boyband as seen on the UK X Factor, 4Tune
3) Serbian Electronic/Hip-Hop group 4TUNE

1. 4tune (born March the 13th in 1988) is a German rapper from Hamburg strongly influenced by Gold rap style. His real-life name is Mario Müller and he also uses the pseudonym Günni Kologe.

Because of artistic differences regarding his future solo career, he left his label, BSE, in the summer of 2006 and was taken under contract by WillySkyy.

2. 4Tune, a 4 piece boyband were seen on the second series of the UK X Factor in 2005. They were mentored by Simon Cowell. 4Tune left the competition in week 2. They performed the songs I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys (Week One) and “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson Five (Week Two). In 2010 they released the single ‘My Name’.

3. The group behind this name was formed by 2RQUE and C-HELL-O.S in 1993. They came to think of a “real” name for a project-turned-to-group, and being influenced by the music they listened to (Public enemy,RUN DMC,NWA,2 Live Crew…) they decided that their name should consist of numbers and letters forming one word. Searching through a dictionary, 2RQUE ran into the word “fortune”, which in slang can be written as 4TUNE (in that form it has many meanings, such as: happiness, wealth, 4 melodies, 4 tuna fishes…) and came to agree to name themselves that way.
