Biography

Coming from Bandung, 4Peniti consists of Zaki (vocals-guitar), Ammy (violin, mandolin), Ari (drum-piano), Rudy (contra-bass).
4Peniti presents the ambience of connecting with the touch of a deconstructive logarithm music live jamming in the form of acoustic instruments.
4Peniti history began when one of his comrades were going to get married. Because each personnel have soul of art or musicians, they were determined to give a wedding souvenir in the form of video clips. The song “marriage” was created by Zaki, lyrics by Tata, and then arranged in congregation with Rudi, Ari and Ammy. Arrangements are made live in the recording studio together in the ARU on 7 April 2002. The result was over the expectation. They feel unique, because although the new meeting time, has felt no chemistry between them. Although the composition of the song is quite simple, they really like the composition of the song. That’s the next song is widely known under the title No.
4Peniti name appeared when they were frantically looking for a band name. In the midst of the confusion 4Peniti Zaki proposed the name, a play on the name of the jazz musician he admires, Pat Metheny. The deal became their tradition in the work. Congregation’s work. He said, it is more important because euy recipe! (Sundanese: happy, happy). Common vision in music that is the reason they agreed to create a band with the name 4Peniti.
