3RDegree are Robert James Pashman (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), George Dobbs (lead vocals, keyboards), Aaron Nobel (drums) and Pat Kliesch (guitars/backing vocals). They formed in 1990 and put out 2 albums (THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE & HUMAN INTEREST STORY) by 1997 where in January they disbanded. They reformed in 2005 and have a new studio album NARROW-CASTER that came out in December 2008 as well as a DVD/CD called THE REUNION CONCERTS which is a live dvd/cd of their April ‘07 reunion concerts.
It also features behind the scenes footage as well as interviews with the band. 3RDegree played ProgDay 2009 in Chapel Hilll, NC in September of 2009, videotaping it for a future DVD release. The band is currently writing their fourth album.

3RDegree began when founder/bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Robert James Pashman met with drummer Rob Durham in December of 1990 with a common love of the progressive rock bands they had grown up with & in hopes of picking up where Pashman’s last band had left off. A six month union with a guitarist didn’t pan out until new guitarist Pat Kliesch was added in the summer of 1991 & the band played its first show that November. Kliesch’s hard driving off-kilter riffs & juxtaposed melodic acoustic writing gelled with Pashman’s soaring hooks within strange meter: all this thrown in with the most capable Durham who reveled in the challenge of holding it all together.
