Everyone always bitches about music being commercial, it's 311... go put on Mastodon if you want more playing, 311 keep it short and sweet. Pretty much always have, they're slicker with their arranging, have WAY better TONES than ever before... this is a great blend of new and old stuff. Great dynamics, riffs and programming... ugh, why can't listeners be more patient/musically literate/on-board with a band instead of saying yeah this is great, I don't know why exactly. This isn't... again I don't know why, maybe if you played you'd understand.

Also, I'd rather have 8 tracks that rock than 8 good tracks and 4 or 5 filler tracks that don't really have any life to them and just weaken the album as a whole. Like that was most people's problem with DToM, the whole watered demo feel to half the tracks. Of course I'm one of the very few that like that album even still!

I don't find this pizza burnt or strangely topped, at least by way of comparison with say, Uplifter. This album is the shit, if you ask me! Best release since From Chaos.

Dude it's like pizza, hot, cold or whatever it's still 311. It's just a shame that they burnt this particular pizza and added a bunch of strange toppings before they did it. I was trying to find the 311 sound in this one and had a hard time. Very commercial sounding.

Quality over quantity on this one. I'm stunned. All eight tracks are really well produced, and really have that old school 311 vibe. I love it!
