Unity was 311’s second independent release and first CD release on their own record company, What Have You Records. It was released in 1991. This album is no longer in print and is very rare. There were only 1,000 original copies pressed and released of this album.

Rainbow Studios in Omaha, NE has a 311 Unity Plaque on their wall that shows the CD and artwork in the main office of the studio. This is the only place that has this plaque. Here is a picture of that plaque from the studio:




SA Martinez was not an official member of the band at the album’s release, though he did contribute his vocal talents on several tracks.
Four tracks from this album were later re-recorded for their first national debut album Music.
