The group 3 Piece represents a return to the harmony of Urban R&B music. This trio of singers, songwriters, and producers aim to take music lovers back to a time of slow-grinding grooves and kissing on the dance floor. Deeply rooted in the community they grew up singing in church Reese G, Lucky Charm, and J. Bizzle believe the success of 3 Piece is grounded in their true love of music. They spent five years providing a harmonic soundtrack for daily commuters on Chicago’s train lines.
The result of singing for the public on the train all those years granted the guys unmatched vocal training, notoriety within the Chicago music community, and the respect of their fans. 3 Piece released an indie project in the fall of 2002 on a Chicago-based label their debut album First Come First Served sold more than 100,000 copies, and the first single Ohh Ahh ran for (42) weeks on top rated Clear Channel-Chicago station, WGCI, breaking the national record for longest running single, a slot previously held by R. Kelly at 36 weeks. 3 Piece has shared the stage with industry heavy weights such as: Jay-Z, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Brian McKnight, Ja Rule, Jahiem, Mario, Omarion, Marcus Houston, Nelly, LL Cool J, Dru Hill, Jagged Edge, Tyrese, Kanye West, and Twista, among others. They have polished their performance skills through appearances at major events such as: WGCI/Big Jams, Taste of Chicago, Spring Break/Daytona Beach, Summer Jam/Little Rock, and at the distinguished Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Center in Nashville.
