2nd Chapter of Acts was a very refreshing band from USA. They started in the Jesus Movement in the 1970s-1980s. They were based in Texas. Keith Green worked with them. It is based around the love and community that the Early Church had in Acts. Annie, Nellie and Matthew are siblings whose voices blended in such a way to give their songs a unique trademark sound that could easily be recognized from the rest. In 1992, the band decided to take their ministry in different directions, which no longer included the 2nd Chapter of Acts namesake.

The first song I ever heard as a newly spirit-filled Christian was "I Fall in Love/Changes" in 1976. They're music has been a touchstone of the anointing ever since. "You don't know which way the wind blows; So how can you plan tomorrow?... Jesus knows which way the wind blows; So give Him your tomorrow..."

It's great, great music, but, I lost faith in God. And, without that faith, it only remains great music rather than great music to experience one's belief with more deeply. I won't get rid of the cd's I have of The Chapter, though. They are objects to use and memorize an important memory with.

Good memories - I was in a band in college (UT Chattanooga) that covered a lot of these tunes.
