29 Jul 2007, 13:15 by zip4everExactly one year ago I started scrobbling and today I reached 10,000 songs! The winner of the fortune 5000 was Innuendo by Queen.
Song number 10,000 was Everybody Wants to Rule the World . Time for an overview of my most played artists!
1. Anastacia (-)
Will I ever be Sick and Tired of her beautiful music? If you screamed "yes", guess again ;-). Nevertheless it becomes a little
Heavy on My Heart that she's focussing on her clothing line instead of her singing career. Her last album Pieces of a Dream was a greatest hits cd which featured only 3 new songs and her previous self-titled full album is dated 2004. So ... please don't get the music fans Left Outside Alone
2. Queen (+1)
This superb group climbed to the second place and can crown themselves as Princes of the Universe cause only by a Fight From The Inside they can conquer the Seven Seas of Rhye
3. 2Pac (-1)
Beaten in a neck-by-neck race by Queen but also immortal. Life Goes On for these beautiful rap tunes!
6 Jun 2007, 09:46 by VUIGWell, here it is! My first mixtape for the Monthly Mixtape Group here at Last.fm. I was teamed up with kumu and the (optional) theme given by SevenUp was 'The Soundtrack Of Your Life'. I've named my mixtape:
I have experimented a little with the theme and tried to find those songs that I associate with certain events in my life that changed my being for all eternity (without getting too cheesy). As music can be an outlet for different emotions, I tried to divide my chosen songs into different categories.......well, here I go:
The Discovery of Music
Exploration ~ The first music I can remember listening to when I was a litle boy, lying on the floor in the living room browsing through my fathers LP collection. I was fascinated by the sound of the Beach Boys, the looks of Bowie and the lyrics of 'A Boy Named Sue'.
01. Beach Boys - Sloop John B
02. David Bowie - Starman
03. Johnny Cash - A Boy Named Sue (live)
