22 is the name of at least two artists.

One of the imprisoned blues singers recorded by Alan Lomax during his famed “Southern Journey” went by the moniker of “22.” He can be heard on recordings of such tunes as “Prettiest Train,” and “Old Dollar Mamie,” and “Early in the Mornin.”

22 are a band from Trondheim, Norway[/placeformed] formed around 2008. Combining the heavy edged, mathematical and progressive insanity of The Mars Volta, Muse and Refused with a keen pop sensibility and strong desire to experiment…

22 are signed to the British Independent label Best Before Records in London.
