Biography

Bradford, UK, post-punk group (Mark Tighe - guitar, Ian Tilleard - vocals, Mick Reed - Drums. Sputnik - Wasp. Other members were changing. Formed in December 1980 and set about recording heavy, melodic, intense dance music with no frills and pretentions. Recorded 4 singles. One album and performed a couple of sets for John Peel (in 83 and 84). Muic by Mick Reed/Tighe, Words Tilliard.

Originally called “Heaven 17” they changed their name due to the existence of the other poppier anti facists who were rising through the scene at the time.
