I don't really care about if it's a "Regular Edition" or "Limited Edition". I just tag it with the album title and that's it...But if you usually tag Limited Editions like that, why do you ask about the tag? Just tag it "12012 (Limited Edition)" if you prefer it... :P

jETfLASH Or, to put it another way: I suppose that when something is truly great, there are still people who will hate it. It's all so subjective and the matter of taste. Of course it's easier to compare everything that makes metal sound in Japan with DIR EN GREY, hate this type of people!!

xxxratedcunt Somewhat disappointed with their new album; musically sounds nice but it's a mess itself; the only tracks I liked 艶 and FORTITUDE (this was my favorite; Wataru's voice sounds amazing and the instrumentals remind me a bit to ReS, which is very nostalgic).

I also dislike that everybody is comparing everything with DIR EN GREY. Dir is my favorite band but I tend to be more open minded when it comes the new album! I got into this album without thinking or comparing anything with DIR EN GREY. The album are nothing alike what they've done before, this is their new era. The only song that seems to be a regular song from their NAYUTAWAVE-era is probably 艶, It could actually fit into "mar maroon" or be a "SEVEN" leftover to be honest! You can like/dislike the album how much you want, it's your opinion, why need to change it if you're certain of it.

Phones666 v Yeah that too, seems that you and me have the same problems in relation to this album, Zess. Even FORTITUDE, that everybody seems to call their best song yet, I just don't feel it. Compared to a song like THE PAIN OF CATASTROPHE, which had a beautiful PV, great lyrics, a great story a song was amazing can't be compared to this, but this is just my opinion. I suppose that when something is truly awful, there are still people who will like it. We both saw it when Lycaon released EROS.

For me it doesn't even come CLOSE to DIM. DIM was amazing, with just the right balance. It wasn't all heavy metalcore with awful instruments and vocals. This 12012 album was filled with it. Compared to SEVEN it felt like they didn't even TRY making something decent. A few of these tracks (EN, SUIREN, FORTITUDE) sound like they put effort in them, before they were like: hey, let's change the rear! And wrote all those awful other tracks.

Too bad, I would've loved to see the European release of SEVEN. @Ginkko: I only speak for myself, but I'll bet Pretsy will agree with me on many levels, but here's a summary of a bigger review I wrote about this album: First off, absolutely nothing makes sense. These are songs put together on a record, but I just don't get what they're trying to say here, or better DO here. There's not variety at all.The composition was rubbish. The drums were not even noticable, apart from the annoying CLICK CLICK CLICK in all those heavy songs, the bass had its moment and the guitar did nothing interesting either. Vocals were terrible, Wataru doesn't sound like the Wataru I knew anymore. He's completely ditched his old singing style. Also, if there's one thing I hate, it's people comparing everything with DIR EN GREY. Inspiration is different than just clear rip-offs, but this just was an awful DEG MOO rip-off. I've run out of space, but that's pretty much it.

Phones666: Gan-shin can only release the other albums if they sign a license contract with NAYUTAWAVE RECORDS (DIAMOND, mar maroon & SEVEN) and that will probably not happen. I guess it was easier for them to get a license contract with 12012 now when they're on FIREWALL and they already got a good license contract with them with DIR EN GREY and MERRY.

Ginkko Pretsy, Phones666, how come you don't like it so much? As for me 12012's 12012 is like the Gazette's Dim. Beautiful and nicely balanced heavy music. I mean in which way it's worse than previous 12012's releases?

@KILLINSTINCT, I do not care much for the new album (thought it was horrible lol) but would it be possible to have other older CD's to be released here as well? SEVEN was under another record label but technically they're on FIREWALL now...so...

So...they managed to go below mar maroon? I am truly disappointed. This is disastrous, this is the worst of 2012 - 12012, you suck. You even make Screw sound more original with those generic riffs, bad clicks and..."growls" which just are horribad. I wonder if I should rather blame Dynamite Tommy for picking up a wrong "rookie band"...

Phones666: I have actually asked Gan-shin to release their new CD since they're now signed to FIREWALL in Japan and Gan-shin/Okami has a good contact with them since they release a lot of Dir en grey stuff in Europe. They told me that I should cross my fingers because "a lot will happen in spring".. In fact, on March 8, 2012 they posted on Facebook the message "Very soon..." along with the new photo of 12012, so the album is indeed coming to Europe! I CAN'T WAIT!! :D

Agnessi_91 I was afraid of new album, but in fact "12012" isn't so bad as I expected. IMO, it's heavier than everything that they done so far, comparison to DIR EN GREY is quite right, but I think that 12012 haven't lost their own style. I like the most "ABUSE" and "Suiren". (...but "SEVEN" is still better for me. ^^)

The only good band on FIREWALL right now imo is Merry. For the rest I don't like the label at all. I'd prefer SEVEN over this any day. Weren't they already on FIREWALL when they released SEVEN?

Don't even know how to say about it...first 6 songs is kinda okay, maybe a little boring, except SUICIDE - full version appeared to be much better than I expected from the preview. BUT the second half of the album kick ass, HESITATION and FORTITUDE sounds adorably. But overall: I think guys overdone a bit!
