The name “101” can refer to three bands:
1) 101 was a 1980s New Beat act from Belgium, responsible for New Beat anthem ‘Rock to the Beat’ and involving Nikkie Van Lierop, a.k.a Miss Nicky Trax.
2) 101 is an Eurodance project from Finland.
Their debut single Aamuyö was released 1995.
3) 101 was a pop group from South Africa, consisting of members of the winning group in the Coca Cola Popstars competition.
