Biography

Being born March 6, 2003, The idea of being a band was there much earlier. Founded by four students of Moscow State Open University, .Crrust started from a blank space, lacking all instruments and techniques, slowly starting to actually sound something. After a couple of public exposures in 2004, it became clear that there had to be more time spent practicing, so the more-less acceptable “version” of the band showed up in the beginning of 2005 and started playing in Moscow clubs on a regular basis. Inspired by the rapid growth the band has recorded the promo EP entitled “…doyouseekbeautyindirt?” released on Echolyst. The band is currently getting ready to do some serious studio work, the product of which will be yet untitled fully hq 7-track EP in november, followed by a small tour throughout Russia. The debut .crrust full-length album named “Pain is a Mere Sensation” was released September 26, 2007. The band broke up July 16, 2008 after a show with Dillinger Escape Plan.
