Every track from 1 to 6 is awesome, especially "Caterwaul", my fave Trail of Dead song. From there on it's pretty horrible.

«И вы узнаете нас по следу мёртвых» - строчка из древней молитвы Майя. Парни серьёзно интересуются истоками нашей цивилизации и изучают современные работы по археологии. Разумеется, столь глубокие интересы не могут не отражаться на сочиняемой группой музыке. Выпущенная в 2005-ом пластинка «Worlds Apart» показалась мне очень интересной, идейно свежей и загадочной. Божественные гармонии таких песен, как «The Rest will Follow» и «The Summer of '91» будут всегда вызывать у меня учащённое сердцебиение! За основу Trail of Dead берут многослойный гитарный ландшафт, чем вызывают сравнения с post-rock'овыми группами. Заглавный номер меня очень веселит и поднимает настроение своей расхристанностью и весёлым панковским хамством. Шикарна победоносная песня «The Rest Will Follow» - камень преткновения альбома. Примечательна и неординарна «To Russia, My Homeland»(страстная скрипка играет вальс!);«All White» - грустный, торжественный госпел с влияниями Floyd'ов и Marc Bolan'а. Необычная пластинка! 5.
