Not too sure what to make of this album compared to their others. Eight Days Of Hell sounds like it could be a song by Built To Spill.

appropriately titled since every listener seems so divided in their opinions of this album.

this album is awesome, maybe their best. can't believe how many people hate it. maybe because this album has a lot of different styles, only the open-minded can get the whole masterpiece. every song a hit and on the right place. so divided > madonna > source, tags&codes > worlds apart > century of self (still very good). never really listened to tao of the dead and the first album.

In the greater scheme of their discography, I really love this album for the experimentation and broadening of their sound. It's not their best, no, but it's probably my favorite.

And wtf at the Worlds Apart hate? Will You Smile Again is their best song imo.

Really don't care for this one. It's not terrible but yeah. Doesn't help that I tried to buy Worlds Apart and the actual CD inside was So Divided :(

Still baffled about people who think this is their weakest. I loved it at first listen.

Agreed that this is their weakest, but still not bad. Wasted State of Mind is great though

great album. Only discovered recently that Amanda F....... Palmer sings in Witch's Web and I love that she plays piano on some other songs aswell. And I think the album cover fits the album.

I really like this album. Some really great songs on here. But I do really hate the album cover. Looks cheap.

its ok and some songs are pretty decent but this is their weakest album by far, if you think worlds apart is a weak album you must be dreaming... wake up!!

I don't understand why this is maligned so much. It's better than Worlds Apart, IMO (which I also liked). Of course, it's no Source Tags, but it's great for what it is. And how can you not like Sunken Dreams?
