‘NinteenSeventyNine’ are an alternative rock band from London. The three turned Four Piece band consists of Josh Seventynine (Vocals/Guitar) Joe Wicking (Guitar) Adam Dixon (Bass) and Seb Hancock (Drums). The band has become known for their outspoken views on fellow Musicians, rammshackle yet promising gigs across the capital, being plugged by XFM DJ Steve Harris live on air, being jokingly called the future of rock by NME magazine and managing to slowly build a following. The Band are currently in the process of recording their much aborted Debut Ep and have been tipped to hit the big time by promoters all across town. With a sound that sits well into the current 90’s revival, it’s sure to be an interesting year for the young up and comers.
