Kago Ai (加護 亜依, born February 7, 1988 in Nara Prefecture, Japan, sometimes nicknamed “Aibon”) is a former member of W (Double You), a Japanese pop duo. She was a fourth generation member of morning musume, a founding member of Minimoni, a second-generation member of Tanpopo, a member of the Morning Musume splinter group Sakuragumi, and a participant in the shuffle groups 3nin matsuri, Happy 7 and Salt 5.
She is currently working under R&A Promotions Co.,Ltd as a singer and actress and has released the single “no hesitAtIon”, written a book, and acted in four movies with their management. Kago has released a Jazz cover album March 31st, 2010, with mostly English songs. Making this her second solo work since leaving UP FRONT AGENCY in 2007.

The jazz album was stunning, that's the Kago I want to hear. @good-kati - Jazz is kinda a an aquired thing, especially if you listen to a lot of mainstream Jpop and H!P. It can be quite a change.
