パスピエ (Passepied) is a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2009 by Tokyo University of the Arts graduate Haneda Narita. Their sound can be described as minimal melancholy pop tunes with jazz undertones and high-pitched vocals, electronic mix. They brand themselves as a band with "21st Century Style Super High Performance Personal Computer Destruction Music".

  • Well it's different than the previous albums. They put a lot of oriental/Asian feel to their songs more than usual in the new album. It also feels a bit darker and heavier, which may put off the fans of the previous albums. Personally I love it. But this is what I love about them, that they constantly changing--each of their albums has their own unique flavour--yet they always deliver.

  • New album isn't bad per se but I honestly think their last two were a lot more fun to listen to. Most of the album seems like filler for the singles. Maybe I just need to listen to it some more.
