Biography

Japan (2000 – 2002)

Syndrome was a gothic rock band from Japan founded by guitarist Ruiza (ex. LAYBIAL) and bassist KISAKI (ex. MIRAGE) in January 2000. The lineup was completed by drummer Shion, vocalist Tatsuya and guitarist Ken. The latter two left the band in June 2001 and were replaced by Asagi (ex. JE*REVIENS) and SIN (ex. Vasalla). In its two-year long history the band has been very productive, releasing three mini albums, several singles and few video tapes. Some members even worked on solo releases and side projects.

Sadly, Syndrome had to disband in November 2002 due to KISAKI’s health problems and the consequent closure of record label Matina. Asagi, SIN and Ruiza eventually formed D, while Shion joined Shelly Trip Realize.

@gazerock91: Maybe you just need to turn off the auto-correction?

I think both are good. Tatsuya just fitted to the early sound of the band. Late Syndrome's music is very similiar to the early stuff from D and Asagi's vocals were perfect for it. [2]

ASAGI was a real bore for me in Syndrome and was more interesting in JE*REVIENS. Tatsuya was better for Syndrome [4]

As much as I think Episode II line-up had more great songs, "tensei" is still in my top 5 Syndrome songs.

As for me, Asagi-sama is obviously the best! But their previous vocalist wasn't so bad. But if we're looking at their skills, I'd say ASAGI is a better singer. [3]

Herpderp. Why is this even worth arguing about? Everyone's going to have a different opinion.

Tatsuya was really the voice of this band. Asagi's ridiculous vibrato was just shaky overcompensation for how hard his inferiority was, as well as his nether regions. [2] Perfect!
