After working on Kuroda’s In Depth album together, Ito and Kuroda got the idea of putting together a new band. Mizue had been performing with Ito’s solo band and was brought into the project. Ishibashi was a former member of Back Born Beast and was also brought into the project. They debut their new band ‘ＳＣＡＲＥＣＲＯＷ’ at the Tokyo Game Show 2006. They released their first single steal your misery in 2007 and followed up with the album QUAD and a tour. Their second studio album Royal Straight Flush was released in October of 2009 and they are planning on releasing the DVD of the Royal Straight Flush tour at the end of April 2010.

One of the features of ＳＣＡＲＥＣＲＯＷ is that every bandmember writes and preforms songs. While Kuroda and Ito are the main composers, both Ishibashi and Mizue have wrote a few songs and they do sing some of the songs while on tour although there has been no information if this trend will continue in later albums. So far, only Kuroda and Ito have had vocal parts on their two albums.
