SAY is a Japanese r&b/pop artist on bittersweet ent’s record label.
SAY grew up listening to gospel music from an early age under the influence of her father who was a pastor. She was heavily influenced by TLC in middle school, around the same time she began street dance and music.
After high school, she aimed to get a full debut, and moved to Tokyo. She began to establish herself as a multi-talented artist, being able to sing, dance, as well as compose lyrics and work on sound production.
She’s been credited on such songs as DS455 “INTO YOU feat.SAY” (in 2009), TWO-J “SUMMER TIME MAGIC” (2009), OZROSAURUS “windy Saturday” (in 2006), Big Ron “Summer High” (2005) and others, strengthening her presence as an essential female vocalist.
In August 2009 DJ ☆ GO produced “Superstar” was released, and was a top download in a number of club music ringtone sites.
On November 18, featuring guest 2009 Kayzabro (DS455), she released the single”Let’s get a party feat.Kayzabro (DS455).” She finally released her debut album, “ONE LOVE,” on April 14, 2010.
