Biography

Incheon, South Korea (2007 – present)

Kim Hyoyeon (김효연; born September 22, 1989, in Incheon, South Korea) is a singer, dancer, model, and member of the South Korean idol group, Girls’ Generation.

Hyoyeon once attended a hip hop dance school that specializes in waving, popping, locking, and animation. Prior to her debut, Hyoyeon traveled to Beijing, China in 2004 with Super Junior’s Siwon to learn Mandarin and more about Chinese culture. Currently, she is a member of the Korean group Girls’ Generation, and made her debut in 2007. She is known as the “Dancing Queen” of the group.
