Biography

Trouble Maker (트러블메이커) is a co-ed subunit consisting of 4Minute’s Kim HyunA (현아) & B2ST’s Jang HyunSeung (장현승), also known as JS.

The first music video teaser was released on November 28, 2011, while the second one was released on November 29, 2011. The music video for the single Trouble Maker and their first mini-album was released on December 1, 2011.

Promotion and Release

On November 24th, cube entertainment announced that HyunA & HyunSeung would form a sub unit. The agency also unveiled the unit’s album jacket photo for their self-titled mini album “Trouble Maker”. The photo features a private-party concept which showcases HyunA and HyunSeung dressed in their classy black suits.

On November 26th, 2011 Trouble Maker has released the tracklist for their upcoming debut album as well as their audio teaser. HyunA and HyunSeung also performed at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards to further promote the album, showcasing provactive dancing and what was believed to be an intimate kiss. However, the next day cube entertainment official confirmed that the HyunA and Hyunseung didn’t actually lock lips during their performance. “The kiss was not lip to lip, but actually lip to cheek.”

Music Video

Trouble Maker is a MV that plays on the cat-and-mouse theme. Set in a lavish hotel room, the video is rife with gunplay and sexual tension. Both HyunA & HyunSeung spy on each other.
