Cho Kyu Chan is a songwriter, vocalist, and chorus singer at the same time. He was raised in a very musical environment, where both his parents and brothers at some point were musicians; Cho Kyu Chan and his two older brothers – Cho Kyu Man and Cho Kyu Chun—are referred to as the Cho-trio, and have worked together in various works. Cho Kyu Chan first debuted in 1989 singing ‘Rainbow’ in the Yoo Jae Ha Music Contest, and won the grand prize. In 1990 he released the album ‘Shadow that a New Wind Blows’ with Kim Jung Ryeol and Lee Joon, however this group only lasted for one album. Since 1993 he has been performing as a solo artist as well as writings songs and appearing as a guest singer on many other albums, namely the three Toy projects and two Cho-Trio albums. His wife is singer 해이 (Hey).
