Biography

Kim Jong-woon (born August 24, 1984), better known by his stage name Yesung, is a Korean pop singer and occasional actor.

He is best known for being a member of the 13-member Korean pop group called Super Junior (슈퍼주니어), with his role being one of the lead singers.
He is also part of two Super Junior subgroups - Super Junior K.R.Y. and Super Junior Happy.

He has released three solo songs featured on the OSTS for Attack of the Pin Up Boys (“Are you ready?”), Tazza (“사랑참아프다 (Love really hurts)”) and Cinderella Sister (“너 아니면 안돼 (It has to be you)”). In 2009, he released a charity duet with Super Junior member 이성민 (Lee Sungmin) for abandoned dogs called “지금 만나러 가요 (Now we go to meet)”.
He has also started performing in musicals, having done two so far (Namhansansung and Hong Gildong), playing the lead role in both.
Though his main career is being a singer, he also is an actor, model, tv personality, former dj, and various other fields within the entertainment industry.
