Biography

Seoul, South Korea (2007 – present)

Min Sunye (Hangul: 민선예; Hanja: 閔先藝; born August 12, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea) is a singer, actress, spokesmodel, and leader of the South Korean idol group, Wonder Girls.

Sunye attended Korea Arts High School and currently attends Dongguk University, majoring in drama; she is on a temporary leave-of-absence while promoting in America. In 2001, Sunye was first discovered by JYP Entertainment during Park Jin Young’s 99% Challenge project. Sunye showed off her singing and dancing talents at the young age of 12 and has since undergone training at JYP Entertainment.
