Jo Mihye (stage name: Miryo; Hangul: 미료; born November 2, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea) is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and member of the South Korean girl group Brown Eyed Girls.
On stage, she is the commanding female authority of hip-pop rapping, but off stage, she is wise and quiet. Although she inherited her musical ability from her mother, who is a music teacher, she admits that her family had no influence on her career and that she sought it out of pure passion. Miryo trained for three years before making her debut with the Brown Eyed Girls on March 2, 2006, and has since released an album of her own; MIRYO aka JOHONEY, on February 1, 2012.
