Biography

Neofolk singer-songwriters Akiko Shikata and Haruka Shimotsuki teamed up together for the song “EXEC_with.METHOD_METAFALICA/.”, composed for the Ar-Tonelico soundtrack in the cinematic style of the series. It mixes parts of “METHOD_METAFALICA/.”, by Akiko Shikata, and “EXEC_METAFALICA/.”, by Haruka Shimotsuki, with original parts into a neoclassical arrangement. Albeit following the purpose of blending these two songs into a new one, most of the song, which is over seven minutes long, was made out of original recordings.

    You listen to Japanese artists because you like the music, NOT because they're Japanese? You think J-tags are irrelevant and somehow misleading as it makes Last.fm calculate similar artists that have sometimes nothing in common beside their nationality?
