Lord_Bumblebee i don't understand why people want two separate tags for Amis artist name, one for Sony and one for Avex? Seriously.. it's the same person. All just because of the damn blacklisting of her 鈴木あみ name. This is just a law related formality we all shouldn't care about. Separating into two tags is a step into the wrong direction, imho!

First, is there any place available that collects this kind of shifting artist tags so that one can easily check which tag is appropriate for which tracks (or whether a certain artist has more than one tag at all)? As it is, Musicbrainz does not mention this tag at all, placing everything under 鈴木亜美, and on Wikipedia you won't notice it unless you're actually looking for it. Second, while I agree that one should avoid using older tags for newer tracks, would you consider it acceptable to - when in doubt, or as a general practice - tag the older tracks with the newer tag, in effect using the current tag as the default?

Hollerama Why can't they be combined? I mean, I use the correct kanji on my own tags, but on last.fm it seems like they should be merged. I mean, just because she changed the spelling doesn't mean that she's a totally different person.
