许嵩Biography
Vae (許嵩) is also the name of an artist who “debuted” January 10th, 2009, with the Mandarin album ‘Personalize’. It was leaked beforehand, and pre-sales reached 10,000 through orders on his website.
His first claim to fame was when his song “Moth” was put on Sina in 2006 and received more than 70,000 downloads. He got several offers afterward, such as producing the 2006 Supergirls album. He has written at least 110 songs so far, and despite only releasing a real album only now, he’s gained a hoard of fans who love his music.
He’s been likened to Jay Chou in terms of sound and style. He is 22, and he was one of the top ten students in Anhui province, graduating from Anhui Medical School.
