Yoshihiro Kanno is a Japanese contemporary classical composer born in 1953. He graduated from Tokyo University of Fine Arts with a masters degree. He has since composed many pieces and albums, ranging from electronic and electroacoustic to contemporary classical music. He is also very well known for doing the soundtrack to the 1985 film Angel's Egg, a highly abstract film by Mamoru Oshii, who was behind Ghost In The Shell, Patlabor films, and is credited to creating the first OVA, a sci-fi title called Dallos.
