肆伍 (FourFive) is a death/thrash/metalcore/hardcore band formed in August 2004 in Beijing, China. Initially, the band was formed by five college students, who had participated in school bands, and had a good response. The band was left with only three members after some of them had to leave for academic and personal reasons and the band’s development stalled for nearly a year’s time. But as new musicians joined the band, they brought new musical elements to their style. The band has actively played around Beijing in various bars and clubs, and has also toured other Chinese cities.
In February 2010, the band released their first full-length album, 孕育生命的不只是母体 (roughly translated, “It’s not just the mother’s womb that can give birth to life”).
