To do this yourself, use your top 20 artists, and look at the eight highest artists on their similar artists. If any of them repeat, do not count the second entry and every entry after that. If any similar artists are also in your top 20, don not count them either. If any entries are the same artist but with a different name, don't include this similar artist, pick the next one down. For example, in Michael Jackson's similar artists both 'The Jackson 5' and 'The Jacksons' are included, so you would ignore the 'The Jacksons' and pick the artist below them in the similar artist list. It sounds complicated, but it's easy once you get started. Once you have your list, count up every first entry of an artist. Your final socre will be out of 160, so the highest score you can get is 160, which indicates extreme variety. If you want, you can just do it for the top 10, in which case a score of 80 represents extreme variety.

Their debut album is the best in 2009 for me. I really was impressed with their sound when I listened to the album at first. I can't tell how amazing they are and how I love them in English... not even in Japanese. I hope they will come to Japan. I really want to see them live!

The longer, the better. Quality of sound is not perfect, though.

04.青い花 - 空気公団 (Aoi Hana - Kuuki Koudan)
"Aoi Hana" means "blue flower" in English. This one is for the OP of an anime with the same title. The anime is about two girls in friendship akin to young love, and both the melody and lyrics describe very well a relationship of them --- simple care for each other. Sweet and touching song.

Sengoku BASARA was a fabulous anime. Everything was just perfect.
Thanks to this anime I became much more "otaku"... I bought Sengaku BASARA game of course, read some books about sengoku era, and went to Sendai with my BASARA friend, where Date Masamune ruled in 17th century. Also I got much more interested in voice actors. I got some DJCDs of Basaradio. What's more, I bought about 170 doujinshi in 9 months. The total amount I have is now about 620 or more...

A bit late, but here is the list of CD/DVD bought from January 1st 2009 to December 31 2009: 51 albums, 31 singles and 15 Dvds!

And to make the most of my music, i also bought a ZonePlayer 90 by Sonos. When i was a child, I was dreaming of a multi-room music system and Sonos made if for me! It's a bit expensive but it's just perfect, exactly how i thought it would be! I can control it everywhere i am with my iPhone, and i'm using it everyday, i can listen to my music in all my house, not only my room <3
