  FFXIII had such an outstanding soundtrack. So interesting and melodic, and layered with different sounds, even the production is wonderfully done. I feel a lot of people overlooked it because of their criticisms of the game itself though, which is a shame.

  I think XIII's soundtrack is superior as well but XIII-2's is pretty good, Knight of the Goddess, Sitgmata of an Oath and Plains of Eternity are my personal favorites.

  Personally considered XIII's soundtrack superior, but XIII-2 has some gems of its own. I'm exceptionally fond of Etro's Champion, which is one of the best modern FF tracks I've heard.

  From what I've heard of the FFXIII-2 soundtrack, it doesn't even compare to the first installments'. They ruined the Archylte Steppe & battles themes, Crazy Chocobo is awful and rap doesn't belong in a FF game. Shadows of Valhalla howevz is the 'Dust to Dust' of the soundtrack.
