Asakusa Jinta is a rockabilly/marching band from Asakusa, an old district of Tokyo (where famous cineast Kitano Takeshi was born).
The band takes inspiration from old Jinta bands, from the Taisho (up to early Showa) period, that marched the streets of Japan performing for the people, taking the principles of Giri and Ninjo (duty and empathy) and much of their sound.
