Wang Feng was born June 29th, 1971, in Beijing. He studied violin and viola at the Central University of Music. He started his career as a rock musician with the band 鲍家街43号 (Baojia Street No. 43) in 1993. The band released two albums. Wang Feng’s first solo album 花火 was released in 2000. His sixth solo album 信仰在空中飘扬 was released in 2009, and the album made him the Most Popular Male Singer on the Chinese Mainland at the Channel V’s 14th Chinese Music Awards in March 2010. His latest solo album 生无所求 (“Life Asks for Nothing”) was released in 2011, and features two discs and 26 tracks of new songs.

VelluNiubi After careful listening, I've come to the conclusion that 生无所求 might be Wang Feng's best album to date (or second best, right after 花火). A lot of uninteresting material in those 26 songs but quite a few gems too.
