Kenta Nagata (永田権太) is a composer that joined Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development in 1996. He most notably composed the music to Mario Kart 64. He also contributed to various Nintendo games such as Animal Crossing, Zelda Wind Waker, Mario Kart: Double Dash, 1080 Snowboarding and his most recent work Wii Music.

Totaka only composed the K.K. vocal mixes and aircheck recordings, but is credited as the sole artist for the soundtrack (which is strange, considering he was not the sole composer). However if you're using audio rips from a game, or want CORRECT tags, than by all means use the proper tagging of Nagata.
