*better than MOST Jihen's recent output. I wouldnt call it better than Konya wa Kasaragi, Onna no ka wa Daredemo etc. I'm guessing this is one last cash grab before getting serious into a new album, that will most likely be something fresh. The main thing I like about Jiyuu is that the new band sound incredibly... free. Jihen were stuck in a continuous rut. Now don't get me wrong, I loved their sound, but I think they really couldnt go much further with it, especially with the conflicting personalities in the band.

Unsurprisingly "Jiyuu e Michizure" sounds like a theme song for a mainstream TV drama. I think you all know what I mean ... still, it's better than Tokyo Jihen's recent output. But well ... she's the genius who brought us the tea cup album and Shousu Strip, we all know she can do (much) better ... She should have kept the song for Miss Kuriyama.
