(2006 – 2012)

愛狂います。 (romanized as “aikuruimasu”; literally “crazy love”, read as Aicle.) was a Visual Kei band from the Kantō region of Japan. Aicle’s musical style can be classified as an experimental form of the oshare kei genre, since it deviates from the usual “pop-rock happy sound” which many of the oshare bands fall under. Adding growls and screams, unusual guitar melodies and mostly (but not limited to) dark-themed lyrics, to melodic choruses and a very colorful visual image, aicle creates a surreal atmosphere that can roughly be described as “psycho-happy”. The band has a wide musical range going from heavy rock songs to ballads.

The four (at the beginning five)-member band was formed in August of 2006 by former members of the indie band モノもの, who had disbanded in January of that same year. 愛狂います。 played a few lives from their formation until their first official live on February 22nd, 2007. Most of their releases were live distributed singles before they released their first single 記念日。, on March 3rd, 2007. The band then participated in compilation album u-20亥, before releasing another string of singles throughout 2007 and 2008. The band started off 2009 strong with the release of their first full album 心臓。, on March 25th. But sadly, in April of 2009, Guitarist けいた announced he would be leaving the band at their live on May 5th. Now a four-member band, 愛狂います。 continued performing without けいた and released two more singles in 2009, 地球戯。 and サイコ×レタア. The band is set to release their next single ケセラ:セラ, on March 17th, 2010. Aicle officially disbanded on 2012.2.22, the band’s fifth anniversary.
