She made her debut with the single “KIZUNA” in 2004 and released her first album, ‘Archive Lovers’, on 25 April 2007. Her single “Nageki no Mori” was used as the opening theme for the PS2 game ‘Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri’ (ひぐらしのなく頃に祭)

Ayane is also known as Junko Hirata when performing for Konami. The songs she is featured in solo and/or with platoniX can be found in beatmania IIDX and DDR.

彩音(Ayane) was a Saitama-based visual-kei band active from 2003-2007. The band was made up of two members: Yuu on vocals and Tatsuki on keytar. Most of their music up until 2006 was very upbeat synth-pop/rock, but took a slightly more mellow tone after Tatsuki left and was replaced by the support guitarist, K.
Throughout their career, they released a total of 10 CDs including a full album which was released after the member change. The band went on hiatus after their 2007.03.20 live and although Yuu mentioned in his blog that he would be returning, that never appeared to be the case.
