彩冷える (romaji: ayabie, formerly アヤビエ) is an indies rock band from Japan that formed in the spring of 2004. Their first European tour took place in 2006, but shortly after that their guitarist and primary composer 涼平 (Ryouhei) decided to leave the band. He was soon replaced by 夢人 (Yumehito) and the band started afresh.

Their popularity exploded after having embarked on their second European tour, and also their first American tour in 2008. They have made their major debut in the spring of 2009.

More than the music, the lyrics of サヨナラ are a little mainstream but can't say I blame them when they're preoccupied with the whole "we're major, we're going to make it to the top! we can do it now!" ideal and haven't figured out great bands don't need national/international fame. Believe it or not, these things usually balance themselves out in the end unless the members are pretentious pricks--and I'd be hard pressed to believe any of them are, even now.

Ryohei composed most of Ayabie's music before Yumehito joined the band. Without him, Ayabie wouldn't be where they are today. But I am not feeling their new sound. It is too boring and less dramatic than their previous releases. I guess it is them trying to appeal to a commercial audience. I really love カナリア, but the other songs just aren't memorable for me. サヨナラ is an improvement though.
