Version 13

Zhang Li Yin (Simplified Chinese: 张力尹; Traditional Chinese: 張力尹; Pinyin: Zhāng Lì Yǐn; Korean: 장리인; born February 28, 1989 in Sichuan, China) is the first Chinese female artist to debut under SM Entertainment. She speaks both Mandarin (which is her first language) and moderate Korean and has released singles in both Korea and China, singing in both languages. Known for being the first foreigner to win the Best Newcomer award at the 2006 MKMF, Liyin is SM’s secret weapon to break into the Chinese market. She currently has two singles and one album under her belt, with plans to release her first mini-album at the beginning of 2011.
