Kenji Yamamoto and Kouichi Kyuma or 山本健誌 and 久馬浩一 are best known for their work on the Metroid Prime Soundtrack. Yamamoto was the lead composer for the score with Kyuma as his assistant. The Metroid Prime Soundtrack was not Yamamoto’s first contribution for the Metroid series. In 1994 he created the legendary Super Metroid Soundtrack with Minako Hamano. Both Metroid Prime and it’s sequel Echoes feature strong musical references to Super Metroid and of course also to Hirokazu Tanaka’s work on the original Metroid.

Contrary to common belief Kenji Yamamoto is not the same person responsible for the soundtracks of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai series. when spelled in english their names are identical but apparently they are spelled with different kanji characters in japanese.

I'm pretty sure this is the correct artist. Metroid Prime had two composers, Kenji Yamamoto and Kouichi Kyuma, and this is the ideal page.

Now we get the "keep stats clean" bullshit. What's the real artist?

This soundtrack is so ridiculously good. While listening, it actually invokes images of my previous runthroughs, and all I have to do is close my eyes and I can see myself playing! So vivid, and I haven't played this game in about five years!

Musique totalement indescriptible. Je suis noyé dans un ocean d'émotion quand je l'écoute. Son écoute s'avère viscérale, humaine, prodigieuse. :)
