小室哲哉 Tetsuya Komuro debuted in 1984 as the keyboardist, songwriter and producer for the band TM NETWORK. During this period, he also wrote songs for many of Japan’s most popular idol singers: Seiko Matsuda 松田聖子, Akina Nakamori 中森明菜, Miho Nakayama 中山美穂, Kyoko Koizumi 小泉今日子, Rie Miyazawa 宮沢りえ and Arisa Mizuki 観月ありさ. In 1989, he released a number of solo singles, two of which “Running Horizon” and “Gravity of Love” made it to number 1 on the Oricon charts. In 1994, TM Network broke up, and Komuro began producing a long string of number one hits for the likes of Namie Amuro 安室奈美恵, TRF, globe (of which he is a member), Tomomi Kahara 華原朋美, Ami Suzuki 鈴木あみ, H Jungle with t, Arisa Mizuki 観月ありさ, Ryoko Shinohara 篠原涼子, Hitomi and Yuuki Uchida 内田有紀, making him the second most successful songwriter in Japanese history after Kyouhei Tsutsumi 筒美京平. On April 15, 1996, the top five Oricon hits had all been written or produced by Komuro. He has been married to a succession of singers: Kanako Ootani from 1988 to 1992, Asami Yoshida from 2001 to 2002, and Keiko of globe from 2002.

I'm definitely biased, but I loved DEBF 3. Much better than the second IMO.

God new album was horrible! At least feature some recognizable vocalists if you're going to crank out crap TK

y'know, the album probably woulda been a little easier to accept if it didn't share the same name as the old one.

it's not the globey type rap that's the problem it's the GaNGstA stuff that's impossible to take seriously

lol How can you complain about TK incorporating rap when it's always been heavily used in his work for globe. Anyways, I'm enjoying the album so far. Nice to see KCO come back from the grave!

as a composer it would still have to be everything done by globe, particularly FACES PLACES or Relation or LIGHTS. (Personally I love outernet as well, but that album isn't well received at all)
